Astrid Hayes
Astrid spent her younger years in the U.S, Scotland and Australia as her
mother was a Scottish native and her fathers work required them to travel.
At the age of 13 the family moved to Naples, Florida and currently Astrid and
her family still reside close to there in Bonita Springs.
Astrid obtained her Bachelor Degree in Communication from Florida Gulf
Coast University in 2002, and during this time, and from a very young age,
Astrid has had a passion for music and has often enjoyed being a part of
numerous theatrical events, singing in bands as lead and/or backup, and
songwriting and producing. Astrid has opened for Ty Herndon at the
Everglades Seafood Festival, has met and sang with Kix Brooks of Brooks
and Dunn, and has placed in the top of several nationwide singing contests
including Bix’s (Formally owned by Yahoo) “Road To Nashville” Capital
Records Online Contest in 2007.
After the birth of thier son Sebastian in 2008, Astrid and her husband Seth
decided to pursue their dream of Snookin N Cookin, a Southwest Florida
based Fishing Charter and Private Chef Business. Astrid organizes all of
the Private Events for the company, and works with Seth directly to give
each and every customer an experience they will never forget. In their
spare time the family enjoys fishing together, and Astrid has a great time
trying to catch bigger fish than Seth and being a mom!
